DESIGNS MADE | Poster, Recital program & invitation card
“Viver” is a conceptual idea by my friend and singer, Serena Bixby, for her spring Recital that happened in April, 2024. The concept is based on the song “O Que É O Que É” launched on the 80s, by Gonzaguinha, a famous MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) singer and composer. A song that has resonated with big crowds throughout the decades, “O Que É O Que É” lyrics reflect on various aspects of life and human emotions, posing existential questions about love, happiness, sadness, and the meaning of life itself.
The song discusses the duality of life, portraying it as either suffering or beauty. When creating the graphics for this project, I though about my own personal quest for beauty and decided to bring the aesthetic I've been developing with that same duality in mind. This search for me is about bringing nature closer through its beautiful colors, shapes, and patterns, allowing its presence to unfold and involve us in beauty.
